Note: Does not fit the larger "Base Camp" and "Scout" kettles
Instructions for use:
1. Slowly fill the kettle with water. Fill it about 15mm below the pour in/spill out hole - see red line in photo.
2. Insert the green Kelly Kettle whistle loosely and lightly into the pour/spill opening of your kettle. Always make sure the arrow on the whistle points down towards the ground, then the steam will safely escape towards the ground as well.
3. NEVER force the whistle into the pour/spout opening of your kettle, as we want it to be easy to pull out once the water in the kettle is boiling.
4. Boil the water in the kettle as usual (instructions are included, the English translation can be found at www.kellykettle.cz).
5. When the water is boiled, take the kettle off the heat and place it on a flat surface. Allow the water to boil for approximately 1 minute. Hold the kettle by the handle with one hand, thread the index finger of your other hand through the ring and rest your thumb on the opposite side of the whistle. Gently pull the whistle out. Never use a jerking motion or excessive force to remove the whistle.
6. Follow the instructions in the package insert (supplied with the kettle) for the correct way to lift the kettle and pour the water.
