The Ranger knife was designed by Captain of the Finnish Defence Forces, J-P Peltonen. Carbon steel blade with Cerakote FDE coating, Thermoflex polymer handle, plastic sheath.
The Cerakote coating provides top-level corrosion protection and excellent durability, making it an ideal choice for demanding conditions. The coating is available in several different color variants. The Cerakote FDE (Flat Dark Earth) color is a darker shade of beige.

A knife with such a blade is heavy and strong in proportion to its size. It is suitable for chopping and slicing.
