The Ranger knife was designed by Captain of the Finnish Defence Forces, J-P Peltonen. Carbon steel blade with Cerakote FDE coating, Thermoflex polymer handle, plastic sheath.
The Cerakote coating provides top-level corrosion protection and excellent durability, making it an ideal choice for demanding conditions. The coating is available in several different color variants. The Cerakote FDE (Flat Dark Earth) color is a darker shade of beige.
There is a small hole on the handle for e.g. Paracord. Includes a strap for hanging on a belt.
* straight back - single-section blade with curved blade and straight back. This blade is more commonly found in the kitchen than in outdoor knives, but even here this blade is not entirely unique. A knife with such a blade is heavy and strong in proportion to its size. It is suitable for chopping and slicing.
