Peltonen Knives
While working as a military observer in Lebanon, JP Peltonen got his hands on a US military knife. The weight, usability and balance of the knife were in a class of their own and deeply impressed Mr Peltonen. The idea of a knife with similar characteristics but suitable for northern conditions smouldered in his mind. Thus began the story of Peltonen knives and their long journey from the plains of the Middle East to the forests of Finland.
Today, the Peltonen Ranger is a NATO-coded professional knife that is popular beyond Finland's borders and meets even the strictest requirements of international special forces. The knife is also ideal for civilian use; for the needs of bushcrafters, hunters and survivalists - anyone who is out in the wilderness. It is a knife whose features are designed to work in Finland's often very inhospitable wilderness.
The M07 is a shorter version of the M95 Ranger Puukko knife.
There is a small hole on the handle for e.g. Paracord. A strap for hanging on a belt is included.
