SRM 9008 – robust EDC knife with Sandvik 12C27 blade

SRM 9008 is a robust folding knife designed for everyday carry (EDC). It offers an excellent balance of quality, durability, and price, making it ideal both for collectors and daily use. The blade is perfectly centered, without play, and the knife comes extremely sharp straight out of the box.

This model feels like a knife from a much higher price category. The latest version features a stonewash pocket clip, thumb studs, and screws that replace the older blue accents from the previous generation. It is still the proven 9008 model that has gained popularity among users worldwide.

The blade is made from high-quality Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, known for its excellent sharpness, good corrosion resistance, and easy sharpening. Thanks to ball bearings in the pivot, the knife opens very smoothly – either using the flipper or the dual thumb studs.
