Mora 2000 (S) Black Edition is an upgraded outdoor knife featuring a profiled grind blade made from Swedish stainless steel 14C28N, a black DLC coating, and a spine compatible with ferro rods. It is a durable and versatile knife suitable for bushcraft, camping, and hunting – ideal for food preparation, carving, and lighter outdoor tasks.
A unique combination of strength and design
The matte black DLC coating provides enhanced corrosion resistance and reduces glare. Combined with the black handle and sheath, it gives the knife a robust and cohesive appearance with a professional and stylish character.
Ferro rod compatible – ideal for bushcraft, hunting, and camping
The knife spine is compatible with ferro rods and is suitable for making feather sticks, shaping tent pegs, or carving small tools such as butter knives, spatulas, or spoons. It also performs excellently in food preparation and other light field tasks.
Secure grip and user-friendly design
The ergonomic polymer handle provides a secure and comfortable grip even in wet conditions. The symmetrical black polymer sheath is easy to carry on a belt and is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
Swedish stainless steel with DLC protection
The blade, with a length of 108 mm and a thickness of 2.5 mm, is made from Swedish stainless steel 14C28N with a hardness of 58 HRC, ensuring long-lasting sharpness and excellent corrosion resistance. Unlike the Mora 2000 (S) model, which uses 12C27 steel and a profiled spine, this version features a sharp 90° spine compatible with ferro rods. The DLC coating increases wear resistance and provides a matte, non-reflective finish.
Made in Sweden
Mora 2000 (S) Black Edition is manufactured at the knife factory in Mora, where traditional Swedish knife-making craftsmanship has been combined with modern production for more than 130 years.
