This ultralight sleeping bag is designed to be easily portable with a weight of only 125.4g. It is ideal for backpackers and campers who need to pack light without sacrificing comfort. It is made of high-quality mylar fabric and is waterproof and durable, so users will stay dry and comfortable even in harsh weather conditions. Designed for use in cold temperatures, the bivy sack is ideal for winter camping and survival, providing users with a warm and cosy retreat in extreme conditions. Usage is for both adult, child and unisex use, it can be used in a variety of situations, from camping and hiking to emergency situations, providing reliable and warm shelter. The included emergency whistle provides an added safety feature, allowing users to signal for help in an emergency.

Temperature range of use:

  • The Emergency Thermal Sleeping Bag does not have the stated temperature comfort of a traditional sleeping bag.
  • Mostly reflects 70-90% of body heat, but does not insulate, so:
    - Around +10°C and above → usable for emergency overnight stays.
    - 0 to +10°C → usable for emergency use, but the risk of cold is higher.
    - Below 0°C → only as a supplement to another sleeping bag or for rescue (short-term).

What to look out for

  • The sleeping bag does not breathe - moisture can condense inside.
  • It does not provide insulation from the ground - a pad or a mattress is essential.
  • Suitable to pack in any backpack for trips as part of a KPZ.

Use an emergency thermal sleeping bag if:

  • You're in an emergency and it's below +10°C.
  • You are in danger of getting wet, windblown or hypothermic.
  • You have no other sleeping bag or shelter

Safety Instructions:

    • Keep it away from fire, stoves, hot ashes (they melt and burn quickly)
    • .
    • Ventilate regularly if conditions permit (moisture condensation).
    • Place on a smooth surface (easy to puncture).
    • Use in cool conditions (risk of overheating in warm environments).
    • Not recommended for unsupervised children (risk of suffocation in young children).
