- Magnet dimensions: 60x20x10mm
- operating temperature: up to 80°C
- material: Nd-Fe-B (neodymium magnet)
- degree of magnetization: N50
- Surface: Nickel+Copper+Nickel (triple plated)
Under normal circumstances, neodymium magnets will maintain their magnetism almost indefinitely. This makes them different from ordinary ferrite magnets, which lose their magnetism over time. Nevertheless, there are certain things to watch out for and certain things to avoid.
- Magnetism can be compromised by exposure to temperatures above 80°C. Depending on the temperature and the time of exposure, magnetism may be reduced or even disappear.
- Magnetism can also be affected by other large magnetic field strengths.
- Take extra caution when handling magnets, due to their great magnetic force, injury may occur.
- Magnets are very fragile, and if handled carelessly, they can crack or break off small parts. Breaking the nickel coating will also make the magnets susceptible to corrosion.
WARNING: Strong neodymium magnets are not suitable for children's hands, they have a high magnetic force, and there is a risk of finger pinching and other injuries if used incorrectly.
